The Perch Team Exercise Dashboard, powered by Perch Performance Scores, is designed to give you a quantifiable way to analyze your athletes' progress and guide your program design.
This dashboard directly helps you answer crucial questions such as:
- Is my team improving overall?
- How are my athletes adapting (e.g., getting stronger, faster, and/or more powerful)?
- Which athletes need more specific attention?
This article includes information on the following visualizations within the Team Exercise Dashboard:
- Team Overview
- Team Status
- Metric Over Time
- Change in Performance
- Athlete Performance Overview
- Speed vs Strength
- Training Distribution
Navigating the Team Exercise Dashboard
The Team Exercise Dashboard aggregates performance scores and other metrics for a specific exercise across your entire team. You can filter the data by:
- Exercise: Select a single exercise like "Back Squat".
- Team and Position: Position selection determined by team selection.
- Custom Date Range: Analyze data over specific periods (e.g., "Last 3 months") or select a custom date range.
Here's a breakdown of the key sections and how you can use them:
Team Overview:
-
- Is my team improving?
- Are we getting stronger as a team?
- Are we getting faster as a team?
- Displays the Team Average for Total Performance, Speed Score, and Strength Score, along with the percentage change. Click the link to learn more!
- Displays the Number of active athletes who had valid Load Velocity Profiles for the selected exercise within the chosen time period alongside the total athletes on the team roster.
- Team scores here are calculated using an average of individual athlete scores. % change compares the most recent LV profile within the selected time period to the most recent profile before that period (e.g., "Last 30 days" compares the latest profile from the past 30 days to the most recent one older than 30 days).
-
- How was the last session for my athletes?
- Who is underperforming/ over-performing compared to their expected LV profile?
- Displays the percentage difference between actual session results and expected performance based on the athlete's Load Velocity profile.
- These percentage differences will be based on the date filter selected.
- For example, if "Last 30 Days" is selected, the most recent session will be compared to the closest session to 30 days prior.
- For a custom date range (i.e., between Jan 1, 2025 and March 19, 2025), the session closest to March 19, 2025 will be compared to the closest session before Jan 1, 2025.
- If you would like more information about how these percent changes are calculated, please reach out to your Perch customer success representative or our support team by emailing support@perch.fit.
- These percentage differences will be based on the date filter selected.
Metric Over Time:
- This chart allows you to see how average metrics, like Peak Power or Mean Velocity, have changed over time for sets performed at a specific intensity (e.g., 70-75% of 1RM or 300-350 lbs).
- You are able to select a specific intensity (70% 1RM) or a range of intensities (70-75% of 1RM).
Change in Performance:
- Displays how much an athlete’s most recent LV profile has changed compared to a previous period (e.g., 30 days ago).
Athlete Performance Overview:
- This table provides a quick look at each athlete's current Total Performance, Strength, and Speed Scores, along with their change over the last three months.
- Sort data by selecting the column title.
Speed vs Strength:
- This is a visual chart that helps you see where athletes cluster in terms of their speed and strength, based on their most recent profile.
- It can highlight position-specific performance trends.
- As a reminder: Positional analysis will only be displayed if a team is selected.
Training Distribution:
- This chart shows where athletes are performing most of their training volume, either in terms of relative intensity (%1RM) or absolute velocity zone.
- Comparison: Positional comparison will only be displayed if a team is selected.
