Creating a Perch Report

To create a new report:

1. Select a report preview OR select "New" and choose a report type you'd like to create.

2. Add a report Name & Description.

  • Select a name to more easily identify the filters selected within the report. For example, for a report that gets downloaded regularly, you could use a name like "Weekly Export- Football" along with a description that highlights the filters the report selects "Skills + QB, Last 7 days." Alternatively, "Men's Soccer Readiness: April" with a description that highlights a conclusion for sport coaches.

Shared Insight Library: All coaches in your organization who have access to reports will see the reports that you save to your Insights Library.

3. Select and save unique filters: When the report is saved, the filter settings will save as well, which should make things more convenient for you when using the same report over the course of time.

  • Manage columns: Once you've selected your filters, you can select the "Manage Columns" button to pick and choose the data that you want to see. This will also maintain the columns you want to see as the reports get saved.

4. Return to your Insights Library to view, share or export your report at any time!

Perch Reports

Train Sets

Includes all set data collected with Perch exercises (tracked or untracked).

Select from a variety of filters: Users, team, positions, exercise, and date range. You can also choose at what level you'd like to view your data (set level vs rep level).

Keep in mind that Manage Columns with "Sets" filter selected will yield different results than if you select the "Reps" filter - Set level analysis will allow you to see change from set to set and understand change and fatigue over the course of a set. Rep level analysis will do the same but within a set instead. Rep level will provide the ability to see asymmetries and imbalances for lower body unilateral exercises.

Evaluate Sets

Includes all set data collected with Perch assessments.

If you're interested in analyzing additional metrics alongside Jump Height, please contact your Perch representative to upgrade for access to advanced metrics (Time to Takeoff, Takeoff Velocity, RSI Mod, etc).

Readiness Reports

Includes additional aggregated data specific for monitoring athlete fatigue and determining athlete readiness from any assessment activities completed using Perch.

  • Comparisons based on sessions: Gain insight into how an athlete is performing relative to how they've performed in the past with Perch Evaluate.
    • View how the most recent session compared to the session prior and vs 30 day average.
    • Readiness status based off of their Z-Score. Note: A score greater than 1 is displayed as green, -1 to -2 is displayed as yellow and -2 or less is displayed as red.

Compliance Report

Viewing the Perch Compliance Report will allow you to analyze which of your athletes is doing what's been assigned to them, and how they're doing it. You'll be able to see things like volume and intensity completed, tonnage completed, as well as goal accuracy.
